As a way of thanking our alumni and encouraging the growth of Alliant International University, the University is offering scholarships to encourage sons, daughters and friends of our alumni to attend Alliant International University. Both international and domestic students are eligible. The scholars and professionals of the 21st century will need international perspective and cultural competence that an education at Alliant can deliver because of its diversified students, faculty, and locations. Two types of scholarships are offered and described below:
Alumni Referral Scholarship
The Alliant International University Alumni Referral Scholarship is an annual tuition grant of $1,000 that can run as long as four years. The scholarship is awarded to an incoming student for full-time, continuous enrollment and is given in the name of the alumnus or alumna who refers the student. The alumnus or alumna who submits the recommendation in writing stating their affiliation to the student and e-mail to Admissions at admissions@alliant.edu.
The alum’s recommendation must be submitted as part of the admissions application. A student who is admitted without a recommendation will not be eligible for the scholarship.
The scholarship will be offered beginning with the fall semester of 2007. It will run through the spring semester of 2010 and can be extended with approval from the Alliant President. Students enrolled in half-time studies may receive a $500 annual scholarship.
Alumni Legacy Scholarship Fund
The Alliant International University Alumni Legacy Scholarship is offered to immediate family members of individuals who attended Alliant, USIU, CSPP, Cal Western or Balboa College. This scholarship offers an annual 25% discount on tuition.
The Legacy Scholarship will be offered beginning with the fall semester of 2007 and can run as long as four years. The alumna/alumnus must submit the recommendation in writing, state their relation to the student, and e-mail the recommendation to Admissions at admissions@alliant.edu.
The Legacy Scholarship recommendation must be submitted as part of the admissions application. Once admitted, the student will not be eligible. The scholarship can be extended with approval from the Alliant President.
