Dartmouth College Support Letter for a New Hampshire State, or Vermont State Driver's License Application

Non-immigrants who wish to apply for a New Hampshire or Vermont State driver's license should click on our driver's license information page in the Visa & Immigration Info section of our website to get a list of required documents for a state license application. Each state has different requirements, but a letter of support from the institution sponsoring an international student, scholar or employee is common to both States. This letter verifies the individual is residing in the state, and that he or she is in good academic, employment, and/or non-immigrant standing. To receive this letter, please fill out this form, and click "Submit" at the bottom. We will email you when your letter is ready for pickup at the Office of Visa and Immigration Services (OVIS), 44 North College St., Hanover, usually within two to three business days.
