Studio Policy

Please read the studio policy below and acknowledge you have done so by checking the box at the bottom of this section.

STUDIO POLCY

Students will not be allowed to wait outside of the studio for a ride home. Parents are expected to escort their children both to and from the studio.

Tuition is due on the first class meeting of each month. Please review the tuition section of the website for a list of class meetings and tuition amounts for each month (Track A or Track B).

Students are expected to attend all classes as scheduled, from September through the end of June. Missed classes cannot be rescheduled, or made-up, and monthly tuition for each month will not be adjusted for late or absent students.

All students are expected to practice for a minimum of 30 minutes daily at home. Parents are strongly encouraged to invest in either an upright or a grand piano for their child’s home practice.

Students need to bring all of their piano lesson books in a book bag, a pencil, and a three-ring binder to every lesson. Your child's name should be written on the outside cover of each lesson book.

Students will be registering for Certificate of Merit in October 2010; however, only those students who are fully prepared by the end of February will be sent to be adjudicated in March 2011 at El Camino College.
