Studio Policy

Please read the studio policy below and acknowledge you have done so by checking the box at the bottom of this section.

STUDIO POLCY

Students will not be allowed to wait outside of the studio for a ride home. Parents are expected to escort their children both to and from the studio.

Tuition is due on the first class meeting date of each month. See the tuition page for a schedule and tuition amounts for each month.

Students are expected to attend all lessons as scheduled, from September through June. Private lessons can be rescheduled with 24 hours' notice of cancellation and made up before the next week's lesson.

All students are expected to practice for a minimum of 30 minutes daily at home. Parents are strongly encouraged to invest in either an upright or a grand piano for their child’s home practice.

Students need to bring all of their lesson books in a book bag, a pencil, and a three-ring binder to every lesson. Your child's name should be written on the outside cover of each lesson book.

Students will be registering for Certificate of Merit in November 2011, however, only those students who are fully prepared by the end of February will be sent to be adjudicated in March 2012 at El Camino College.
