Fall Festival & Open House

You are Invited
to our Annual Fall Festival
& Open House
Friday, October 26th
6:00pm-7:30pm

Food, Games,
Millennium Pet Zone,
Costume Parade & More!

We were wearing Halloween costumes and playing games. We also got toys there, and we saw who had the best costume. We also had candy that was just really good. There was everything you could think of that people were wearing. We had the fall festival in the gym. Even though there were a lot of people we could fit in the gym. :D I bet the new kids would be so happy to be there.

                                                        Albert Atay - 3rd Grade

Last year we  had a big fall festival and it was quite … AWESOME !!! We had lots of games and fun activities. Last year, there was the burning down house where  there was fake smoke. We learned how to escape a fire. We also had many animals out side for people to see. We had a water fight, a giant table of FOOD and more food and more. At the end of  the day everyone was pooped and fell to the floor.

                                                   Alex Atay - 4th Grade

Last year I had lots of fun at the fall festival. Some things that I did were riding big horses, meeting real fire men, and eating lots of cotton candy! My favorite part of the fall festival was the... BOUNCE HOUSE!! It was AMAZING! I hope that I can do all of that stuff again this year on the 26 of October!

                                                      Daniel High - 4th Grade

I hope that the fall festival is going to be fun and cool. I heard that we get to dress up into costumes. I hope there is CANDY!!!! I go crazy for CANDY!!!! I have never been to this schools fall festival. The festival is October 26, 2012 from 6p.m to 7:30. I am so excited to see what it looks like. I have my costume already. I’m going to be a black cat for Halloween and for the fall festival. I’m going to go crazy after I eat all the candy I get.

                                                       Amanda Ventresco - 6th Grade

I look forward to seeing  costumes candy and games. I want to see what people will wear .............................and the CANDY! I want to see what they have planned  for us. Hopefully I can go and not get sick. That is all I plan to see. I  also plan  to  see the pets roaming around like little creatures. It would be amazing  to see what they do :). So I plan to see a lot more than just that I want to see decorations and details and that's all I plan to see for this fall

                                                         Vincent Beall - 7th Grade

At the fall festival I hope to see many people and friends. I also would like to see games, and bounce houses. These games should have  many cool prizes when you win. I would also like to pay a dollar to pie the teachers in he face, especially  the ones who make us do the most work! That would be the best school event ever. Or, maybe dunk a teacher in ice cold water. That is what I hope to see at the fall festival of 2012.

                                                           Phillip White - 7th Grade

We have tried public school and home schooling before we attended Millennium Academy. We are very happy with the quality of education, compassion of the teachers and individual and professional attention we are getting from the administration. The small class sizes and the concept of differentiated instruction is something that we like very much. Art, music, technology have important role in the curriculum.  This is a school that cultivates creativity. Adriane Young is a passionate educator and takes safety and well being of all students as a high priority.  Every kid in the school loves her, because she cares for each one as an individual. She goes beyond being a teacher, she is a friend to each one. We have peace of mind when our kids are in the school.

Thank you:

Dogan and Irene Atay  (Febraury 2012)

"Please tell Lex’s teacher that this country needs more people like her to run the school system.  If she could train the public schools on what she is doing at her school, our students today would be back on top.  We wouldn’t have students in high school who didn’t know how to read.  I am VERY impressed with what I saw.  I really like how she incorporates the parents into the student’s learning.  From a teacher's  perspective, it is so important  they are getting reinforcements from home.  From a parent's perspective, it helps to know exactly what your child is learning and feel like a valuable part of their learning.  It helps kids feel their learning is valued and important enough  for their mom and dad to stop and spend time connecting with them."

Jen Johnson (Teacher - 10 years)  February 2012

When our daughter began the preschool program at Millenium academy we had very high expectations for the program. We never imagined that by the second quarter she would be reading, writing, adding and helping her older brother with his first grade homework! The small class size and individualized attention has exceeded all expectations. We are very happy with the nurturing environment that has fostered our little one's love of learning!

Tricia and David Burns (Janauary 2012)

Millennium Academy is a wonderful school. I am very pleased with the quality of
education my child receives. Millennium Academy truly maintains a high educational standard. Smaller class sizes, weekly assessments, quarterly parent’s
conferences,
wonderful caring teachers, and advanced technology make this school a great fit for our family.

Millennium Academy is awesome. It is so great that I actually moved from Raleigh to Wake Forest so my kid could go to this school. By the end of kindergarden my 5 year old was READING! There are like 7 kids in the first/second grade class. Where else are you going to get that kind of student/teacher ratio? Nowhere else. People are definitely missing out on the Millennium Academy experience. - T. King
