Fiddle Contest Guidelines

By submitting this entry form, the contestant agrees to accept and abide by all of the guidelines of the Riverfolk Festival Fiddle Contest.

CONTEST GUIDELINES
1. The Fiddle Contest takes place on Sat Aug 7, 2010.
2. The First Round begins at 10:00 a.m.
3. The Contest will be held at Carr Park.
4. Contestants must check-in 30 minutes before playing.
5. Contestants will have two minutes to play (1) fiddle tune
6. Second Round Fiddlers will compete after the first round.
7. Second Round Fiddlers will perform (1) reel and (1) waltz. (no repeated tunes).
8. Winners will be selected from each division (Youth, Junior, Adult).
9. Winners (First place only) will be invited to perform on the Main Stage.

Important:
The Contest will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and contestants must check-in 30 min before they play.  All Pre-Registered entries (online prior to Aug 5) will be notified via email of their scheduled time on a first-come basis.  Note: The Contest is limited to 15 entries per division.

AWARDS
1st Place

- Ribbon Award
- $100 Cash
- Live performance on the Main Stage Saturday (optional).
2nd Place
- Ribbon Award
- $50 Cash
3rd Place
- Ribbon Award
- $25 Cash
