You may use this form to express interest in reactivating a cultural Greek organization that has lost recognition with the University or to express interest in starting a new cultural Greek organization.

To reactivate an organization that has lost recognition with the University, OR to start a new cultural Greek organization, please follow this expansion checklist:
-There must be at least 5 to 10 students that have expressed interested in the proposed organization through this form.
-Each interested student must meet the minimum academic requirement of the LIU Post Greek Community: maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
-Each interested student must fill out the MGC Interest Form online at www.tinyurl.com/PostGreek and select the cultural Greek organization that they wish to reactivate. Students can write in their organization of choice to indicate interest in starting a new cultural Greek organization.
-Each interested student must upload a Formal Letter of Intent, asking the Multicultural Greek Council and the Office of Campus Life to open for expansion.
Formal Letters of Intent should:
-Describe the organization in which you intend to reactivate or start on campus;
-Why you wish to become a member of the organization; and
-How reactivating/starting this organization will enhance the campus community of Long Island University - Post.
