Your foster dog may not be housebroke and puppies are messy.Foster cats and kittens may notbe litter box trained You understand he/ she may have accidents in the home.
Your foster dog/puppy may chew on furniture clothing shoes and other objects and puppies can get nippy . Cats and kittens my scratch on furniture clothing and other objects and may scratch you.
The foster home is responsilble for any damages.
You agree to keep the foster on a leash or in a enclosed area at all times.
Never let the foster run free off a leash .
You will not take the foster animal to a vet or administer medication unless directed to do so by a rescue agent.The Pet Society will not Reimburse foster volunteer for any unapproved veternarian expenses.
If the foster needs to be seen by a vet you will notify rescue so arrangements then can be made.
Sometimes you will be asked to meet rescue agent with the dog at our vet .
There could be some risk to yor own pet you understand that The Pet Society is not held responsilble for your own pets medical treatment.
The Pet Society is the legal guardian of the foster animal. You understand the rescue has the final authority in regard to the animals adoption ,treatment or disposition.
As a foster parent you agree to care for your assigned pet for a minimum of 2 weeks or until another foster home opens up . If you wish to keep fostering the pet until the pet finds a family this can be done.
If you decide you want to adopt your foster you will have priority and qualify for a reduced price adoption.
