2017 Summer Entrepreneurial Fellows Internship Stipend Application

The Entrepreneurial Fellows Summer Internship program provides a limited number of stipends for current undergraduate and graduate students seeking to gain experience in entrepreneurial management by participating in an unpaid internship. The internship should be in a new and emerging organization that has an entrepreneurial environment. Student internships can be for-profit or non-profit. Student stipend amounts may vary by the type of host organization and student qualifications. Preference is given to students returning in the Fall. The Program is highly competitive.

There are five (5) segments to this online application:
(1) Student Information
(2) Host Organization Information
(3) Internship Information
(4) Student Pledge and Signature
(5) Three required attachments:
      a.  The Proposal
      b.  Your Resume
      c.  Statement of Responsibilities from your Internship Supervisor
 
Each segment must be fully complete for the application to be considered final by the selection committee. 

Required Attachments:
(a.) Statement of Purpose - The Proposal (found on our website). You should take particular care to explain the nature of your internship and what your projects or assigned duties are expected to be.  Also explain how this is entrepreneurial or innovative and how it relates to your career aspirations.
(b.) Your resume.
(c.) Statement of Responsibilities from your Internship Supervisor (A signed document from the internship coordinator which confirms your position, states your responsibilities, and offers a brief description of the organization. This should be mailed/emailed to you. It is your responsibility to attach it with this application).

The application deadline is April 17, 2017 by midnight!   
 
*Please note: International students should check with the Center for Global Programs and Studies BEFORE accepting an internship and applying for an internship stipend.
 
Grants are awarded only for the internship stated on the application and cannot be transferred to another internship.
