On Friday, October 15th, the NEAUA will offer two educational hands-on training courses at the Annual Meeting:
Advanced Prosthetic Urology Strategies: How to Improve as an Implant Surgeon
Emerald Ballroom I&II
Our course brings together expert prosthetic surgeons to teach surgical maneuvers needed for complex prosthetic cases for erectile dysfunction.
Surgical management of benign prostatic hypertrophy: Current techniques for the treatment of small and large glands
Intervention for the management of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) has evolved over time with advances in both technology and surgical techniques. Many options are currently available to treat men with symptomatic BPH and the optimal choice of intervention is multifactorial. Prostate size and anatomy are primary determinants along with patient preference and urologist comfort and surgical experience.
This course is intended to give an overview of some of the most commonly used interventions and technologies to treat men with BPH. Expert surgeons in the various techniques will provide guidance on patient selection, surgical considerations, tips, and techniques, and patient follow-up.
Registration is free of charge but advanced sign up is required.
