Join us! We are inaugurating a new Political Economy and Law research stream within the European Association for Evolutionary Political Economy (EAEPE) at its 35th Annual Conference ''Power and Empowerment in Times of Multiple Crises" at Leeds (UK) from 13-15 September. The YSI Finance, Law and Economics Working Group, in the spirit of furthering its research agenda at the intersection of political economy and legal studies, aims to support and build a community of young scholars at the conference.
For this research stream, which is supported by the EAEPE and the Association for the Promotion of Political Economy and the Law (APPEAL), the YSI FLE WG, invites participation and contributions from early career scholars (PhDs, postdocs) working at the intersections of political economy and law in comparative/global, historical and theoretical contexts using either quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods approaches on topics including (but not limited to):
* economic and legal dimensions of governance
* competition/antitrust law
* labor markets; labor law; and labor relations
* intellectual property; property rights
* power and democracy
* corruption
* contract-based institutional arrangements
* informal markets and arrangements
