Thank you for your interest in becoming a Reframing Aging Facilitator (RAF).  The facilitator has the exciting role of being on the frontlines of this nationwide movement to change our society’s attitudes and approaches to aging.  Facilitators are trained to lead workshops, make presentations, and offer basic technical assistance to people wishing to use the evidence-based framing strategies. These educational, awareness-raising engagements are an important part of an overall strategy for achieving meaningful social change because they promote the use of effective ways to tell our stories.

The facilitator training is conducted over two consecutive days. The goal of the training is to equip you to teach the reframing aging communication strategy. The Reframing Aging Initiative offers ongoing learning and support to facilitators following the training.

Reframing Aging Initiative

Please familiarize yourself with the Reframing Aging Initiative on our webpage, www.reframingaging.org, including the collaboration by the Leaders of Aging Organizations (LAO) who conceived of and began the initiative, the research partner FrameWorks Institute, and the funders who have supported the project over the years.
