Contest Terms and Conditions
The CAS Global Case Study Creation Challenge aims to expand and enrich our library of case studies that reflect real-world challenges in general insurance actuarial science. By contributing, you will play a vital role in enhancing the hands-on learning experience for university students worldwide, bridging the gap between theory and practice.
About the Competition
Case studies should be on general insurance/property and casualty related actuarial science and data science/predictive analytics related topics, including but not limited to motor, property, commercial, product warranty, agriculture, microinsurance, etc. Submissions will become shared resources for educators, providing dynamic tools to enhance learning experiences in university actuarial programs.
All submissions will become the property of the Casualty Actuarial Society and shared with fellow educators to advance the field collectively. Writers will be properly credited in all uses of the material. Materials should be created by those submitting and not previously copyrighted. All materials must be in English. The CAS reserves the right to ask clarifying questions and for some updates to materials prior to awarding prizes. The CAS may also modify or adapt materials for educational purposes.
