RE: It's Time To Keep Your Promise: Defund And Repeal ObamaCare!

The recent announcement by the Obama Administration that it is planning to offer millions of dollars in taxpayer-funded medical care to illegal aliens through ObamaCare is a slap in the face to the American people.

During a now-infamous televised speech to a joint session of Congress in 2009, President Obama stated, “There are also those who claim that our [ObamaCare] reform efforts would insure illegal immigrants. This, too, is false.” At the time, Congressman Joe Wilson was lambasted by his colleagues, including some in the Republican leadership, for shouting “You Lie” in response to Obama’s claim. Well, the American people now know that Congressman Wilson was right. Obama did lie!

The Department of Health and Human Services, a few short days ago, proudly announced that millions of ObamaCare dollars will be used to fund so-called "community health centers" that service” migrant and seasonal farm workers." Since those health centers will not check the immigration status of anyone seeking care, according to an HHS spokesperson… And because those health centers are required to provide primary care to all resident in their service areas that walk through their doors… And because undocumented workers make up a disproportionately large percentage of “migrant and farm workers"... it is indeed inevitably that ObamaCare will now provide millions of dollars in taxpayer-funded medical care to illegal aliens.

This is nothing short of an outrage. And not only do the American people want you to stop this outrage, we want you to fulfill your promise to defund and repeal ObamaCare.

Yes, the House did vote to repeal ObamaCare in January, but since then little has been done to fulfill your promise. Instead of pressing the issue, bringing up defunding and repealing again and again or even advancing efforts to defund it piece by piece as you indicated you would, it is as if you have accepted defeat and abandoned the issue altogether. Enough is enough. No more excuses, no more excepting defeat… Defund and repeal ObamaCare now!
