Native Language Speaker Application

Doyon Foundation is pleased to announce a call for Native Language Speakers interested in participating in our DLO in the Classroom project.

We will contract with individuals to review language learning content created and shared by a novice teacher cohort. These individuals from the target languages communities will provide linguistic and/or cultural knowledge. This role could be filled by – but is not restricted to – Elders or knowledgeable others who wish to have involvement in DLO in the Classroom project.

Please note that we will attempt to match interested Native language speakers with members of the novice teacher cohort. If there is not an appropriate cohort member to pair a Native language speaker with, we will keep the speaker's application on file for possible future use.

Applications will be accepted through Friday, December 30, 2022.

We suggest that you use a Word doc to draft and save your application progress, however, you can also create an account to save your progress in the application form. Once you have made an account, the 'Save Progress' button can be found at the bottom of the page.
