Doyon Foundation Mentor-Apprentice Program Cohort 2 Application

Applications for 2023 - 2024 mentor-apprentice teams due Sunday, April 30, 2023, by 11:59 p.m. AKDT

Doyon Foundation is recruiting mentor-apprentice teams from March through April 2023, with a focus on Doyon, Limited shareholders who want to learn one of their region’s Native languages. Mentors and apprentices make a commitment to be part of the program for one year (from late summer 2023 to summer 2024) and have a goal to complete 260 hours of practice in their chosen Native language.

Mentors and apprentices must apply together as one team. Apprentices are responsible for filling out the application and ensuring the mentor consents to everything in the application. Apprentices should review the application closely and gather required information from their mentor before beginning the application process.

A total of nine team spots are available in the 2023 - 2024 MAP cohort.
