GHSA's highest award honors an individual for sustained and outstanding leadership in roadway safety. The award recipient must have undertaken a long-term, concerted effort to make our nation's roadways safer, resulting in a significant contribution to the field of traffic safety. The recipient must have established and implemented programs or be/been responsible for notable advancements in technology or research that have yielded a demonstrated national safety impact.

- Deadline — The deadline for nominations is Friday, April 4. The winner will be selected and notified later that month. Awards will be presented at GHSA's 2025 Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA.
- Travel Expenses — GHSA has limited funding for travel reimbursement. Requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
