Students will learn the importance of service learning and its effect on their communities while creating their own service-learning projects. Students will obtain knowledge relating to their community needs, the importance of civic stewardship, and how to become influential servant leaders within their local communities.
When: October 10th, 2023
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Where: South Winnfield Baptist Church (646 Country Club Rd., Winnfield, LA 71483)
Cost: $5 per member (maximum of 5 members per chapter)
The registration will include lunch. It is recommended that all chapters register by October 2nd.
A maximum of five students may register from each chapter. If possible, please stress that students do not have to be a chapter officer to attend. We are looking for students with high capacity to get the greatest number of members involved in a service learning project at their home chapters.
