The Honorary State FFA Degree Program is operated under the policies and procedures approved by the National FFA Board of Directors, the State and National FFA Officers, and the Louisiana State FFA Executive Committee. Honorary Degrees are provided for in the National and State FFA Constitutions. The Honorary State FFA Degree is the highest Honorary Degree that is granted at the state level and it is presented by the Louisiana FFA Association at the annual State FFA Convention.
PURPOSE: The purpose of the degree program is to recognize individuals who have rendered outstanding service to agricultural education and FFA programs.
CRITERIA OF NOMINATION: Individuals nominated must have provided exceptional (outstanding) service to agriculture and/or the agricultural education/FFA program. Nominations may be made by members of the State FFA Executive Committee, local advisors, or any supporter of the FFA.
DEADLINE: All nominations must be submitted on this official nomination form and submitted on or before March 25, 2022.
