MVVC is excited to offer our 11th year of Boys Youth League! The season will start with three (3) pre-tryout evaluation clinics.

We highly encourage you to attend all pre-tryout clinics in order to be considered for a youth team.  These clinics are a great opportunity to improve your volleyball skills and get to know the coaches before your placement on a team at the tryouts. If possible, we hope to place all registrants on teams.

Our Boys Youth Program will participate in assorted NCVA Boys Power League Tournaments. This 3-month "mini-club" season is for 5th to 8th graders that are not ready to make the year commitment required for the Boys Power League. The program is designed for players of varying skill levels and is great for players playing multiple sports who are unable to commit to a year-long season. Whether it is your son's first time playing volleyball or he has past experience, he will have a place to compete at an appropriate development level.

After our three Pre-Tryout Clinics, we will have our Tryout Placement Day on Sunday, August 28th, at which time we will invite players to participate on one of our youth teams. Any players that are not offered placement on one of our teams will be invited to additional clinics during our winter season. The teams will begin practicing the week of September 9th and will end the season on December 18th. These teams will practice once or twice a week with most practices being on Fridays and Sundays.
