Welcome to the 2022 Youth League Tryout Registration.
MVVC is excited to offer our 10th year of Girls Youth League. This program promotes the basic fundamentals, skill development and proper tactics of volleyball. It is designed for 5th to 8th graders at all experience levels to prepare them for the upcoming Premier and Power Club Season.
The program will start with three (3) Pre-Tryout Clinics and a Tryout Placement Day on Sunday, Sep 18th.
Pre-Tryout Clinics
Friday, Sep 9th:
Girls 5th/6th Grade: 6 -7:30pm
Girls 7th Grade: 7:45-9:15pm
Saturday, Sep 10th:
Girls 8th Grade: 4:45-6:15pm
Sunday, Sep 11th:
Girls 7th Grade: 1:30 - 3pm
Girls 5th/6th Grade: 3:15-4:45pm
Girls 8th Grade: 5-6:30pm
Friday, Sep 16th:
Girls 5th/6th Grade: 6:15-7:45pm
Girls 7th/8th Grade: 7:45-9:15pm
Saturday, Sep 17th:
Girls 8th Grade: 4:45-6:15pm
Tryout Placement Day:
Sunday, Sep 18th:
Girls 7th Grade: 1:30 - 3pm
Girls 5th/6th Grade: 3:15-4:45pm
Girls 8th Grade: 5-6:30pm
Please note - YOU MUST attend the Tryout Placement Day to be considered for a youth team. We also recommend you attend all three (3) Pre-Tryout Clinics. These clinics are a great opportunity to improve your volleyball skills and get to know the coaches.
After the Tryout Placement Day, we will invite to players to participate on one of our youth teams. Practices will begin the week of September 23rd. Teams will be selected by skill level. Any players that do not receive placement on a team will be invited to other clinics during our winter season.
The teams formed will have at least thirteen (13) practices and three (3) tournaments. Teams will practice once or twice a week. Most practices will be held on Fridays and Sundays. The season will end by the end of November.
