MVVC is excited to run our 3rd year of Boys Winter Youth League. This league runs for roughly 10 weeks and will promote the basic fundamentals, skill development, and proper tactics of volleyball.

The Boys Winter Youth League will start with a mandatory series of 1.5 hour Pre-Tryout Clinics followed by an official placement day on Saturday, February 3rd. Please plan to attend a mandatory parent meeting on placement day.  

Coaches will evaluate players at the tryouts based on volleyball skills, general athleticism, and ability to execute drills, and create teams that will represent MVVC well and maximize each player’s individual potential. Offers will be extended on Monday, February 5th. Please be ready to accept an offer quickly if received due to limited space in the program. Each team will consist of about 16 players.  

The Winter Youth League practices will officially begin on Friday, February 9th and run through the last tournament on Saturday, April 13th. 

The program is designed for 4th to 8th graders. The Winter Youth League will have 4th - 6th grade and 7th - 8th grade boys teams with all teams typically practicing once or twice a week. Preliminary practice schedule by team will be published prior to the Placement Day.

Teams will participate in three (3) in-house tournaments.
