A $100 non-refundable deposit is required in order to schedule a pool or spa opening.

Spring Pool Opening Services Include:

1. Reinstall plugs in one pump, one filter, and heating equipment. Additional pumps, filters, in-floor cleaners, and water features are $95 each

2. Remove winter plugs, skimmer protectors
3. Connect automatic pool cleaner
4. Start and check overall equipment

5. Application of balancing and opening chemicals. Chemicals are priced and invoiced separately and are not included in the opening price.

6. Oversized pools (greater than 35,000 gallons) are an additional $95.

A Pool Opening means that the cover has been removed and the equipment has been started, i.e. the pump is running and water started going through the filter. A Pool Opening DOES NOT mean the water is clear or the pool is clean or the pool is "swimmable".

Pool cleaning is available upon request at an additional charge and will be scheduled as a separate visit to allow the chemistry and filtration systems some time to work.

Usually, a pool that has just been opened needs time to filter, be chemically treated, and vacuumed several times before swimmers should enter the pool. The process of vacuuming a dirty pool will stir up debris, often making the water look worse after it has been vacuumed.

We recommend opening your pool before the end of April to ensure that there’s adequate time for it to filter, be cleaned, chemically treated, and any mechanical issues fixed, especially if they may require ordering parts.

Opening your pool in the middle of May and expecting you will be swimming on Memorial Day is an unreasonable expectation. Please heed our advice to open your pool well before you expect to swim in it!

A confirmation is emailed after the Spring Services Request form is processed.
A valid charge card or debit card must be on file in advance of your service and is automatically used for all transactions. We do not accept cash or checks. Invoices are emailed.
Unless otherwise quoted, our hourly rate for repairs is $287.50 with a one-hour minimum.
When a pool is opened it is frequently not swimmable and may require additional service by the homeowner or by our Service Department.
Cleaning is invoiced at an additional cost after work is complete.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of services and products requested must be made in writing to service@rinrobyn.com at least 24 hours in advance. Special order products are not cancellable and are non-refundable. Refunds for services requested will be made only for the unused portion of payments remaining, if any, after a cancellation has been made.
