Fees (All programs)

A registration fee of $50 is due for each child’s application, “each” school year.  Registration for all programs is subject to availability. Please pay for all services requested using paypal.

Basic After-School Program The After School at Spence's Farm is centered around the main farmhouse and our participants have use of the extensive facilities and grounds located at the farm. Each day after arrival, the children settle in and eat the nutritious snack you have provided. We help them with their homework and give them an opportunity to play outside (weather permitting). At 4pm the children start focused activities which include gathering eggs, working in the garden, feeding the small animals, the Hay Maze, the zip line, creative expression, cooking, and more.

After-School
The After School at Spence's Farm is centered around the main farmhouse and our participants have use of the extensive facilities and grounds located at the farm.

After-School Monthly Fees

1 day a week          $100/month
2 days a week        $180/month
3 days a week        $240/month
4 days a week        $290/month
5 days a week        $330/month

Additional Day        $20

Aug/June per  day   $20

*After-school monthly fees are calculated based on the number of school days from September to May and are a Fixed Monthly RateFees in August and June are charged $25 per day.

* Mini Camp Days (held on Teacher workdays and Holidays) are additional and not included in afterschool monthly fees, however, as a benefit to our afterschoolers we offer free extended care when you enroll in a Mini Camp. Go to the Mini Camp Registration page to sign up.

*Sibling Discount:  Additional Siblings are offered a 10% discount on After-School tuition only.

 

After-School Enrichment Classes
The enrichment classes are only available on specific days and are held from 4:00-5:45pm.

Includes pick-up from school and before and aftercare.
Beginner Horsemanship Mon-Sat $40/class
Advanced Beginner Mon-Sat $45/class

Intermediate Horsemanship Mon-Fri $50/class

*Monthly fee is for 1 day a week and include pick-up and care to 6pm.

*Enrichment Classes are still held at their scheduled time on teacher workdays and holidays (when farm is not closed), even though there will be no after-school pick up.  There are no refunds or make-up classes for those that don't show up.

 

Transportation

We pick up at the following Elementary Schools: Carolina Friends School, Duke School,Carrboro,  Ephesus, Estes Hills, Forest View, Frank Porter Graham, Glenwood, Grady Brown, Mary Scroggs, McDougle, Montessori Day School, Morris Grove, New Hope Elementary, Rashkis, and Seawell. The Middle Schools are: Grey Culbreth, McDougle, Phillips, and Smith.
