Nomination: Student Media Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame includes alumni who participated in student media while they attended Vanderbilt, but many inductees distinguished themselves in non-media industries.

Current students benefit from witnessing how experiences gained in collegiate media can benefit them in a variety of fields, so please consider nominating alumni, whether or not their career includes working in media.

For past nominees, updates on recent activities and accomplishments can be submitted with this form.

TIMELINE: The Hall of Fame Selection Committee accepts nominations year-round. Nominations do not expire. Self-nominations are welcome. The committee typically considers nominees in the spring and summer, inductees are notified in the summer, and we celebrate new inductees with fellow alumni during the university's Reunion/Homecoming weekend in the fall.

To be considered for induction in the Hall of Fame, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Last worked with Vanderbilt student media as a student staff member at least 10 years prior to their potential Hall of Fame induction date;
Contributed in a significant way as a staff member to one or more of Vanderbilt’s print or electronic student media organizations;
Distinguished themselves through their work and acts at a level that merits recognition of the highest honor bestowed by Student Media at Vanderbilt.
