The county of Volusia is allocating up to $2.5 million in emergency relief to support local nonprofits with a presence within the County who have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Funds are available as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (“CARES”) Act federal stimulus package. As part of that relief, the County, in conjunction with United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties is offering emergency financial support through the Relaunch Volusia: Nonprofit Grant Program (“Nonprofit grant Program”) on a first come first serve basis. Qualifying nonprofits may be eligible to receive a one-time grant of $3,000 for nonprofits that have 25 full-time employees or less or $5,000 for nonprofits that have 26 or more full-time employees to help them recover from the negative financial consequences resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and relaunch their Volusia county nonprofit.

Documentation required to upload:

  • A completed W-9 form
  • A copy of the IRS 501c3 determination letter
  • Florida Division of Corporations Business Registration Number
  • The nonprofit’s most recent 941 or 943 Form
