ROBSHAM THEATER ARTS CENTER
TICKETING REQUEST FORM

The Robsham Theater Arts Center (RTAC) Box Office at Boston College manages ticket sales for both on-campus events and off-campus events. If you are interested in hosting your sale with the RTAC Box Office, please submit the following form at least 4-6 weeks before your event's on-sale date. Ticketing reqeuests received less than 4 weeks before a requested on-sale date may be denied at the discretion of RTAC Management. 
 
The RTAC Box Office is in operation between September 1 and May 30. No ticketing services are available during the Summer months. Ticketing requests for the early Fall season should be submitted by April 30 of the previous academic year when possible. 
 
Upon review of your request, the RTAC Ticketing Operations manager will schedule a mandatory meeting with the organizer to review the sale details a minimum of 1 week before the on-sale date.

Sponsor Information

As your organization is funded via the SOFC, there is a mandatory BC Student Ticket Price of $5 and mandatory limit of 1 Student Ticket per BC Student. This price and limit is reflected in the Sales Details section of this form. 
 
$2.50 if this amount is in the form of a Per Ticket Fee that covers the costs of the RTAC Box Office's ticketing software. The additional $2.50 of this amount is allocated to the SOFC. 
 
If your event will also be sold to BC Faculty / Staff and the General Public, you may select a ticket price of your choosing.  This price of the ticket will determine the associated Ticket Fee rate, as indicated below in this form. 
Please designate one individual from your organization to serve as the key liaison to the RTAC Box Office for your sale. This indivudal will be contacted to review the details of your sale request and be responsible for attending a mandatory meeting with the Ticketing Operations Manager minimum 1-week before your event's on-sale date.

The venue you have selected is the Robsham Main Stage:
 
The total number of seats in the Robsham Main Stage event is 567. This number includes 22 jump seats, which will only be sold at the door. In line with standard theater practices, the RTAC Box Office reserves the right to hold a very small number of “Emergency House” seats for staff or patrons.
 
The maximum number of tickets available to sell is 540 tickets in the Robsham Main Stage. 
The venue you have selected is the Bonn Studio Theater:
 
Events in the Bonn Studio Theater are General Admission only. Venue capacity is a maximum of 121 seats depending on seating configuration. 4 of these seats must be reserved as handicapped accessible and 3 of these seats must be reserved for RTAC Front of House Staff. 
 
The maximum number of tickets available to sell is 118 tickets in the Bonn Studio Theater.

The fixed seating in the Auditorium is capable of seating 748 audience members.

The Multi-Purpose Room is an open space, 95’ long by 50’wide with a wood laminate floor equipped with a modern HVAC system. The capacity is based on the set up; different set ups have different capacities. Please note: All furniture rentals must be coordinated through Event Management, who can be reached via email: eventmgm@bc.edu.
    • Banquet set up: Maximum # of rounds = thirty nine 6’ rounds. Each table can hold 8-10 chairs each (390 person capacity maximum)
    • Lecture/Theater style (with a center aisle and aisles on the side): 479 chairs
    • For fairs/display tables, the floor of the ballroom allows for roughly 40 standard 6’ folding tables
    • The occupancy limit for the Multi-Purpose room is 806 individuals for a clear room, standing room only.
    • Any request to exceed the stated capacity limits will have to be approved by RTAC Management and BC Fire Safety.

The maximum number of tickets available to sell is 450 tickets for Trinity Chapel. 
 

It is the responsibility of the group hosting the event to order chairs from Event Management.  Event Management can also be requested to set up the chairs for an additional charge.

Ticketing Policies

  • All tickets will be delivered digitally. If you require hard tickets, you may petition a request through the Box Office Manager by emailing rtactickets@bc.edu to see if an exception is warranted.
  • Patrons will have the option to display their tickets on their mobile device or to utilize the Print at Home (PDF) format to print out their tickets to bring to the event.
  • Upon request, your group will have access to a Reservation List report which will provide you the information of each person who purchased a ticket for your event
  • Group sale discounts as well as senior citizen discounts are available options as well when setting up ticket pricing. Please speak with the Box Office Manager to coordinate these options.
  • Revenue from ticket sales (less processing fees) will be transferred to the chartstring entered on this form within four weeks after the event concludes.

RTAC Box Office Policies *

Promotional Materials

The RTAC Box Office can display logos, flyers, and other promotional materials relating to your event on our website, digital signage, and in the Robsham courtyard display case. Please find descriptions for each type of promo material below. 
 
Digital Signage Displays (Robsham Theater Arts Center and Brighton Dance Studios)
Your group may submit a digital image to be added to our digital signage players to promote your event. Files must be a .jpg or .gif with a 16:9 (widescreen / landscape) aspect ratio and an HD resolution. 
 
RTAC Ticketing Website - Flyer
Your gorup may submit a flyer to be loaded into your event description to appear on the ticketing website. Filetypes must be a high resolution .jpg, .gif, or .png. Images may be portrait, landscape, or square. Optimal size: 630px wide, no wider than 1000px. 
 
RTAC Courtyard Display Case: Hard Copy of Poster / Flyer
Hard copies of posters (sized 19”x 36” or 8.5” x 11”) can also be submitted to the RTAC Box Office to be hung on the Box Office window, the RTAC bulletin Board located backstage or in the glass-encased bulletin board located outside the Robsham Theater Lobby’s main doors. Note: Student groups MUST have gone through the OSI posting approval process before it can be posted. Would you like to drop off any posters to the RTAC Box Office to help promote your event?
